George's Fresh Market is excited to join the North Chicago community to offer quality, fresh and affordable produce. In addition to the core produce offering, the 15,000 square foot market will provide a wide array of top-quality ethnic foods that will cater to the needs of local residents. This business is the product of a 20-year friendship between Peter W. Dremonas and George Anderson who have robust experience opening and operating grocery stores and restaurants. Peter W. Dremonas, a produce wholesaler, grew up learning the produce and grocery business from his father, the original Pete’s Produce owner Pete Dremonas. George Anderson, a DePaul University business school graduate, is a restaurateur with seven Harold’s Shrimp and Chicken locations in Chicagoland and Miami. Their combined passion for fresh affordable food will be transparent throughout the store's many departments.
